Experience
Brian graduated from the University of Missouri in 2002 with degrees in Psychology and English. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and after attending basic training, successfully completed Officer Candidate School and was commissioned as a lieutenant in the infantry. In 2004, Brian was deployed for 14 months in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom as a rifle platoon leader where he was awarded the Combat Infantryman Badge and the Army Commendation Medal.
After being discharged from the military, Brian attended the University of Missouri- Kansas City School of Law where he graduated with honors in 2010. While at UMKC, Brian finished first in the school's moot court program and was a member of the school's National Moot Court Team. Brian also served as a law review staff member and interned with the Honorable Judge Ortrie Smith of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri.
Brian joined Douthit Frets Rouse Gentile & Rhodes, LLC in 2011 as an associate. His practice is focused on personal injury, product liability, child car seat safety, crashworthiness, and heavy trucking cases.
