Leslie has joined the firm from a private practice where she specialized in real estate, municipal and general business law. She represents real estate developers in annexations, planning, zoning and development approvals, subdivision covenants and water district litigation. She has participated in the creation and operation of community improvement districts and she advises on the operation of commercial real estate properties and does contract and lease drafting.

Leslie is admitted to practice in Kansas, Missouri, the U.S. District Courts of Kansas and Missouri and the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals. Her article on qualified domestic relations orders was published in the Journal of the Missouri Bar in 2005. She has worked as a litigator at the Kansas Attorney General’s office and as a corporate lawyer specializing in employment law.

Leslie earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Sarah Lawrence College in 1975 and her J.D. degree from State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law in 1978, where she graduated cum laude (top ten percent). While in law school she served as Editor of the Buffalo Legislation Project.
